The Institute has three grand annual festivals. One Technical and two are cultural.
The technical fest is named as Instruo.
The Cultural Fests are Rebeca and Satrang.
TEDx IIEST is also held.
Also there are several other fests, such as the departmental fests like Sphuran (EE), Udbhavani(Civil), Initium (Mining); Club Fests like KRITI (SCAGE), Oikotaan (Music), Gyandhara (Quiz), Scintillations (EDC); hostel fests like Wolfame (Wolfenden Hall),Knockout (Hostel 11 & 7), etc. A sports fest called BE Krira is also held.
